And We See

Pattern of posies, dotted yellow and gold

Scattered on cloth with harrowed threads

And emerald laces.

The empty panes covered with boards

Obscure the view of lemongrass fields

And dandelion seeds.

Snow is still waiting but life still hides

From all the shadows cast from trees

And garden sheds.

There's nothing left of the old row view

Those old row gentlemen long to see.

And everything's beautiful.
