Anesthetic

I’m numb,

Senseless,

My feelings are forever paralyzed,

I’m in a daze,

Immobilized,

I’m frozen in time,

I’m deadened,

Dulled,

I’ve forever retreated to my crying silence,

I’m desensitized,

Stunned,

I’m forever stuck in my depression,

I’m stupefied,

Insensible,

I’m trapped in this unfeeling state,

Forever pinned down by this sorrow,

Forever terrorized by this depression,

Forever lost in this state of numbness.

writers_gonna_write

I have been writing poetry for 5 years now and I have a collection of over 600 original poems I've made. I submitted a poem to Appelley Publishing and was published in the 2018 addition of their poetry book. I love to read and write, and I have a cat and a hamster.
