the angel

do you dream

of cakes or

flowers, or

spend hours

wondering

if you did the

right thing

is the girl on your mind;

do you love her, do you care

have you lost her or

is she still there?

are you plagued

by shadows or

filled with light;

are you violently

shaking the sea

or do you know

you will be saved

are you scared of the dark,

what will become of you,

is she okay or did she break?

do you know whether you're

asleep when you're dreaming

of an angel girl you let free

and can you see her glorious wings

or does she carry those other things?

I've been writing for a while. I'm genderfluid, an atheist, liberal, pro-feminism, pro-choice, pro-philosophy.
