An Angel

An angel

Hidden in the shadows

But her light remains

A tainted past

But a bright future

She still sees it

She can still see the light

She dwells in the darkness

It surrounds her

But it hasn’t taken her

A dark angel

She still has her wings

They have gone black

She can fly

And she will

To where she belongs

And her light

Will be born

Anew
