Angel

Angels

I give you something to carry on up

Wings spread like a curtain

Under circumstances its uncertain

Looking at a child given life

Just to have it taken away

We preach what is spoken

But never what is thought when

Angels carry them away.

We grow up to look down

not up, but took down

a child we once were

but never could see how

we weren't taken by an Angel

but looked down on.

Give me a hug Angel,

I just want to use your hands to feel certain

That one day you and i can be certain that

You will carry me away

Even on the day before

My Last Day.
