An Angel in the Night
As you gently drifted under the nightly sky
The moon
The stars
And every light
Shone upon you
as if you were an angel in the night
As if you were
An angel in a place with none alike
Shifting all gazing eyes
To one very beautiful sight
You my angel in the night
And yes they stared because you were unusual
But not because you were anything less than beautiful
Because you were
The most beautiful sight of the night
Because you were
An angel in the night
