The Angel - A Sonnet

Concealed by twilight’s unlit canopy

Amidst disheartened and vanquished, I stood

So bleak the frigid darkness around me

I would have made it cease, oh if I could

But then someone came and he rescued me

Appearing when it was nearly too late

My Undercover Angel had saved me

For that perfect hour my Angel had wait

He has Made My Blue Skies Come Back Again

For I am no longer Lost in twilight

I can see that He loves me in His grin

And He sings me sweetly to sleep each night

God has answered the prayers that I have prayed

He sent my angel and I am now saved
