Angel Wings

I sat and looked around, But nobody was there. I muttered to myself, As an angel brushed my hair. She must have sensed the tears, Falling down on the inside. She pulled me close and hugged me, And said in me she would confide. I'm your guardian angel sweet-girl, But you never let me in. I see all the pain that you carry, Wondering if it will ever end. I know everything that you've been through, And how you still cry alone at night. But you where meant to be a strong one, Sweet-girl you where meant to fight. I heard her voice deep inside, And I rose to take a stand. She smiled sweetly down at me, As I quietly took her hand. Then a light bloomed all around us, And I saw two bright things. Despite my surprise, My angel had just grown wings. I needed you to believe in me, Just like I believed in you. I helped you get your spirit back, Now there's only one thing left to do. I'm your guardian angel sweet-girl, And you finally let me in. I could see all the pain that you carried, But I knew that it would end. I know everything that you've been through, And how you cry alone at night. But you where always a strong one, Sweet-girl you where meant to fight. I heard her voice deep inside, As i felt her fly away. Today I might have cried, But tomorrows a brand new day. ~The End
