Angelic

She’s plainly beautiful, but in her own way;

Her angelic soul, floats thru the night and day;

I love her so, and I see her flying;

Say she’s ok, but I know she’s lying;

She’s an Angel born, but in a time of war;

Both her wings hath broken, so she flies no more;

She is bound to this earth, but she should be out flying;

And unrequited love, leaves my heart here dying;

I see her walk away, and my heart falls deeper;

Into the chasm of sorrow, growing darker and bleaker;

But maybe someday she’ll join me, only in time will we see;

But not till I reach Heaven, where the angels fly free;
