Angels

Why does this happen?

It doesn't seem clear,

how could he do this?

we say through the tears.

It fills me with anger,

I don't understand,

how things can be taken

right out of our hands.

Out of  our control,

I want to do something,

there used to be smiles,

and now there is nothing.

Our hearts are not toys!

Why toss them about?

and play with emotions,

I just want to shout!

How is life taken,

with the blink of an eye

It's not fair at all,

I want to know why

Why are they gone?

it wasn't their time,

they had more to come,

in years down the line.

The families that loved them,

now cry in the pain,

of the loss they endured,

and the hole that remain.

The sadness around,

consumes every mind,

dreaming and wishing,

that time could rewind.

So much could be changed,

if only we knew,

the fading of time,

that we had with you.

Their hearts were the fullest,

their love never ends,

but now we are left,

with the pieces to mend.

To bring back the smiles,

and laughs we once heard,

to think of the memories,

and to be reassured.

I guess there is hope,

in knowing one day,

I'll see you again,

and I'll get to say.

How much you meant,

how much I cared,

How cherished were the times,

that you and I shared.

I wish more than ever,

that you didn't go

I wish I could tell you

how I love you so.

Fly high most dearest Angels,

with others you will roam,

I await the day we meet again,

in God's eternal home.
