Angels

They exist among us

Disguised from deceit

And hidden from hate

A beauty no one can tame

A soul no one could own

The light in a world of darkness

Only a fool wouldn't fall for them

But only a fool would fall so hard

She knew deceit, she knew hate

She could never love an ordinary man

But when love bloomed,

We grew jealous

Jealous of the man that an angel loved

But no one would stop them

A love so pure, so untainted

So instead,

We all watched,

Watched as this love grew,

Grew to something almost too perfect

We just watched

And watched and watched

A love like a fairytale

A love between two

A love that will hopefully,

Continue to grow

And grow and grow
