Angels
They protect us from much unseen danger
And stand by us when we are fast asleep.
They have been here since before the manger
And live within our hearts so very deep.
They are consciously put in our routine
As soon as we depart from our front door.
Whether or not they are presently seen
Or on the chance we meet them at the store.
When we don’t live our lives within the lines
Or mess up on the way we should live,
They come to you and me in our dark times
To show us how to live and how to give.
Our Angels lead us with the light of love
Which is given to us from up above.
