Angels In Disguise

She's an angel in disguise,

Hiding behind broken eyes.

She knows what she wants to say,

But her fears are always in the way.

He's an angel in disguise.

He sees her through bright blue eyes.

He knew her story and her pain,

But he loves her all the same.

She's better because of him,

Although she didn't know it then.

She is growing stronger.

She won't be that scared little girl for much longer.

He's happier because of her,

For reasons he cannot be sure.

She makes him want to live each day,

In a better way.

They are angels in disguise,

Who saw each other through different eyes.
