An Angel's Wings

God

brought to children

in sorties of pain

Strictures

and scriptures

religion ordained

The wings

of an Angel

lie buried within

Iconoclasts

pawning

— original sin

Micro poem: five lines total, excluding timestamp.

PlainFigurativeOrnamented

Rich metaphors (wings, angel), personification, symbolic language densely layered.

Primarily lyric introspection but with dramatic iconoclastic voice addressing larger forces.
