Anger

Angry at myself

For not trying harder,

But so angry at everyone who thinks

That they are better than me

And think they are know-it-alls,

And they tell me things I know

Are just stupid lies,

For how would they know my heart?

How would they know my life?

How would they ever

Understand my feelings?

They don't know me!

I want to scream,

But yet,

Who would even hear me?

I have been writing poetry for 5 years now and I have a collection of over 600 original poems I've made. I submitted a poem to Appelley Publishing and was published in the 2018 addition of their poetry book. I love to read and write, and I have a cat and a hamster.
