Anger

It feels like a rock has replaced my stomach

And my hands have clenched into fists

I’m as hot as the inside of an oven

Yet my eyes are as cold as frost

My mind is going blank and unable to think

I don’t know what I feel or what’s wrong

It’s like I’m going in circles around an ice rink

And I’m going to break the more I skate on

That’s it!

I can’t take it!

Screaming and shouting

Like a hose that keeps on spouting

Everyone looks at me like I’m crazy

Maybe instead of playing hockey and being lazy

Last night I should’ve studied

I also might have over-reacted
