Anger

I am filled with overpowering anger

And it is unwanted and toxic

You are undeserving of my feelings

yet I have them, confused, torturous, and secret

These sentiments bring you power

How do I crush you? Change you?

The questions of the naive

You cannot change a man set in his deplorable ways

Let alone another narcissus

I hate to feel this weak

I self-blame

But I must remember it is okay to feel

Even for those that crush you under their wheel

Of spinning arrogance and disdain

I have to be strong

I have to be strong

I have to be..strong.

When will I listen?
