anger is my sad
Don’t
Don’t touch me.
Don’t touch my hand, don’t touch my hair
Most importantly, don’t touch my heart
Don’t you see?
You’ll break me
You see these hard words and stony faces
But you don’t see
After
A tear slips out from the cover of night
And rolls down my cheek
As I listen to your disappointment
Of me.
But I wipe it away.
And make anger, to stop.
Stop crying!
Stop!
It will only make you weaker.
You look at me with pity
Pity.
But don’t you see?
It’s your words that break me.
But I’ve added more barriers now, more layers.
Next time,
I won’t cry.
I won’t.
