Angle Child
The rain was falling fast
The wind blowing hard
That night she took a knife
made her one last scar
Keep it steady now
Slow and deep
Echo’s of her heartbeat
Looking up and crimson tears fall
Giving in to her thoughts
Throwing the knife in the fire
Putting a rag on her wrist
Crying to sleep
“My daughter child your safe now”
Eyes opened wide
His arms opened
Crawling he fly’s her away
The sirens are loud
The night glows red
Looking down
No scars
No blood
An angle gets her wings
