Angry Child

My Daddy left and my life’s been nothing but a damn mess,

Over the years I’ve become so fucking careless.

People think they have seen the worst out of my craziness,

And I laugh cause I know they’re all over my business.

The Hell that I’ve been living is the beginning of all my madness,

I’ve become a demon inside and momma’s got stress.

The people around me saw a little girl leave her pretty pink dress,

Grew up out of it with no shame and living with no regrets.

Yeah, there are times I’m good and my conscious is clean,

And I’ma always walk with a gangsta lean.

But don’t you get fooled by the smile I carry as a queen,

You don’t know the struggles I go through as a teen.

I start to hide the scars to be like a long-white widescreen,

For the pool of blood I have managed to leave unseen.

Daddy left me with his unfinished business and now i’m nineteen,

The days come and go; no sells, can’t leave the scene.

There’s not one day I dont think about who’s next one in line,

Next in line to be gone, letting me sit and dine.

Never did I thought about having to go after someone so fine,

But there’s no time to let someone go with no brine.

People in my own hood try so hard to get rid of my bright shine,

Yet I act, talk and walk with pride on my face so divine.

Take a look at how I am today and be blown away like a landmine,

Spitting dirt on my name but no pain in that heart of mine.
