Anime

Growing up I found great pain,

And escape through something plain,

A simple drawing, from the heart,

Will cause my pain to part.

If, forever, I could draw away,

I could shape the world in a better way,

For art has set me free from pain,

Who could I save from the rain?

It matters not the day,

Nor the place I stay,

If I could draw through night,

I believe everything would be alright.

I wish to change dreams to anime,

So that I may wipe a watcher's fear away,

A story to take away reality,

That is where I'll be.
