Once I had held a great fear of this world,

With the humans who held no concern.

I feared them for as long as the star’s life

Yet, the moment came when the fear was no more.

Colors, patterns, lights, weapons.

All this and more surrounded me that time

But what was more worthy of reaps of praise

Was the happiness and love that lazed about.

Happiness for the chance to meet someone new

Who shared the same joy as your own.

Love for complete strangers, who cared in return.

And the beauty of the smiles were made for heaven.

Once I had held a great fear of this world,

Which would kill all you wished to be.

The moment in the sun after years of darkness

Took the fear I held and turned it to hope.
