Annabelle

Annabelle don't you fear no more Annabelle don't you fear That thunderstorm passed long ago So come down from that stair . Let the rain awash the earth And turn your gardens green You've got more love inside your heart Than any man has seen . Annabelle don't you fear no more Annabelle don't you fear The golden years were good to you We all still feel you near . The kids have grown and moved away (not very far from home) You stay with us in memories And words within this poem . Annabelle don't you fear no more Annabelle don't you fear The memories of those thunderstorms Has caught you in my tear.

Having become late deafened, I now use poetry as a form of bridging the comm. barrier.
