Anne

(poems go here) Anne! Morning A very dreaded part of the day. When most humans are sleeping But me of course awake I lay. Like a spy at work I was intercepting the phone conversation, between my mother and my aunt her carrier pigeon. Without warning she fired her shots aimed straight at my heart. Her bullets were words her gun was her mouth and the blood my tears began to start. Quietly at first because they were still on the phone My tears would be saved for later when I would be alone. However, I could no longer hold back. As soon as the phone call ended and there was nothing left to say my thunderous alarming cries slapped the ominous silence in it's face. My mother was suddenly aware I heard of my grandmother's death. It was too late though as soon as I heard the news a piece of my heart immediately left. My mother attempted to console me, it was obvious that it wouldn't happen. She was planning to not tell me Because she anticipated my dismal reaction. I was infuriated, morose, melancholy and so were my cries. They waged war with reality as if her death had been lies. Reality stood firm refusing to be ignored. I sheltered the rest of my heart but it came pounding on my door. Its hammering merciless fists continuously came down upon me No matter how much I pleaded for it to cease It would not let me be. I bawled, screeched, and sobbed just for it to stop Wasn't it enough that she died and my whole world was flopped. She didn’t deserve to die even if it was of old age she was basically an angel kind, helpful and sage. She was a paragon for all parishioners and cherished by many. She was inestimable and loyal and a basic part of me. She was important She was perfect She was loved She was amazing, but now she is gone. and I will be forced to move on. Reality got what it wanted as it stripped away part of my soul She's never coming back I finally with my last aching breath accepted. Apart of me died. Never to be awoken again. I truly really loved her. Forever engraved on my heart will be Anne!
