The Annoying Purple Pen

Clicking and clicking,

all right with that ticking,

dreadful and tiring,

amusing and trying.

Enough with the clicks

and the blots of the ink

that drip drip drip like a drink

precipitating and condensing.

But it seems I am stuck with the amethyst

thing that reminds me of royalty and beauty,

nothing less would be considered snooty,

I have the clicking and clicking that

reminds of ticking, the time I had before

I was stranded here on the isle

that reminds me a lot of Aunt Martha's smile.

And I click some more out of angst because

I wish I could get out of this place.
