Anomie

If you divide a population

By the lowest common denomination

The result remains the very same

While the one never fits the frame

When a systematic error is present

Rejection is based on the augment

The disenfranchised craft their purpose

A value to avoid inevitable disservice

With a programmed secession

The cog is forced into recession

A cold, constant affirmation

Consigns a helpless damnation

Nonetheless, the potential remains

In the form that the wheel retains

There are products of the very same

Experienced in receiving similar blame

Despite a life of alienation

Similarity is still a possible salvation
