Anonymously in Love

I am flawed,

I am spontaneous in the worst kind of way,

I can and will disappoint.

All of these things

I know I am not.

So little

I know.

But I know you,

I know that you are not a picture,

You are not a number,

You are the moment

Before I drift off to sleep,

Where everything is perfect.

You make up such a small fraction

Of the world.

But you make up such a large part

Of me.

If we were all important

To just one person,

Just one,

Joy would become incessant.
