Another

Another hour without you
Another day wishing you'd come through
Telling me "sweetheart, I've missed you "
Another month praying you'd leave your whore
Another year waiting for a knock on the door
Days goes by & I still carry your last name
I walk around looking down in shame
You never once went to my ball game
You've turned me into a broken flame
Another hour of waiting
Another day of hating
Another month of being fatherless
Another year of turning into a mess
11 years without hearing cheer up buttercup
Guess what ... Life's been really tough
Another hour staring at the bottle of beer
Another day knowing you're no where near
Another month overcoming my fear
It's just gonna be another year
From now on I promise to to stop caring
My heart will stop tearing
Who would've thought
I finally got out of that knot
I will always hate you
For all the things you do
But hey dad, I still made it without you.
