Another Day

Another day has come to past

For I don't know where my mind has gone

My dreams has come to past

As I learn my dream was not true

Lost in the make believe

Just a girl in a grown ups world

Needed to come back to reality

I hear the sound unravel its great rhythm

Bringing me back to the stars

Showing me its not just uniform

Or stars or stripes

But the beating of my heart

And the waves from its crest

Learning my true belonging

Making rhythm through my finger tips.

Songs blaze as I fall deeper into trance

On my bad days you can tell from the sharp echoing above

But even though on those days

The flow brings me back.

Beauty can be created and destroyed within just a few simple words. Make them count.
