Another Day

You can’t seem to stop the pain And it seems like everybody is far away You cry to yourself to sleep at night But only God seems to recognize Voices in your head are telling you the only way out is death Louder and louder they speak And you try so hard to grasp on to reality They tell you, you’re not good enough You’re nothing, and nobody wants you And the only way out is to die But you continue to hold on to reality Because…. Nobody seems to know your pain but you So when they say “your pain is my own” You look at them like their dead wrong You think to yourself where were you when I needed help When I was down and out And on my last breath You were nowhere to be found So please don’t come around now I learnt that I don’t need you And it doesn’t matter what those voices say Because you can hold on to what you believe in And die another day
