Another Day

She hates silence

Voices in her head form, crowding her mind with toxic visions of fear and desperation.

She craves for the softest touch, the feelings of want and need

She understands her worth but at times still can not find it

She is that girl, lost and scared at 4 in the morning

Wide awake but so exhausted from the world and begging for sleep

She is not alone even in the nighttime

For her dreams speak to her like ancient symbols engraved into her memory

She tries to push back the trauma but remains dazed and confused with her misunderstood emotions

Searching for faith and guidance but her path isn’t obvious

She turns inward

Feelings of her vibrations form, warming her body like a small wild fire

Abruptly, her compassion and love begins to rise back to the surface with splashes of confidence and passion like dolphins leaping through the ocean waves

Sweet and sugary thoughts now keep her mind safe and her heart happy again

Her self love beams with bright rays of light through the shrunken cracks of her sadness

Another day

She is continually evolving

Another day

She is constantly changing

Another day

She is consistently loving.
