Another Lifetime

Maybe another lifetime,
There could have been a chance.

Bu I am just a fool
With a foolish goal
And an amateur heart
Along with a hardened mind

Memories are not easily forgotten,
Feelings do not fade away.
They stick until they become scars.

Life happens. It goes on and on.
It cares not for how people feel.
The world stills spins whether I choose to be
happy or sad.

So it goes.
