Another Lost Soul

The sun glistens on a warm summer day,
yet her world seems filled with dismay.
So many people are all around,
yet she is falling to the ground.
People come and people go,
but no one stops to say "hello."
The tears she cries seem to never stop,
each one hits her journal with a plop.
Blood so red and scars so deep,
but only the pain releases her screams.
A bottle of pills and one final note,
it seemed to be a suicide note she wrote.
People gathered all dressed in black,
crying and wishing that she would come back.
Her mother wonders what she could have done,
to prevent her little angel from being gone.
The bullies cringe and her friends cry,
all wondering why she had to die.
The world so quiet and filled with sorrow,
maybe it's a dream and she will be here tomorrow.
The sun glistens on a warm summer day,
another lost soul has gone away.
