another love
Darling, the love you give me isnt the love that the wings of butterflies push against my stomache as i think of you
its not the love that fills my head up with the beautiful images of you
it is the love that suffocates the pit of my stomache when i tell myself to stay with you only because you tell me that no one will ever love me
it is the tear that rolls down my cheek as my head aches from the past argument we had the night before
it is the throbbing and the blue-otlined bruise i toch as i remeber you apologizing over and over again saying "i will never lay a hand on you again, i love you.
and that my darling in your head is love, a love i do not deserve, a love that no one deserves
i as a women deserve a love that keeps me up at night wondering how i got so lucky
a love that makes me feel as the moon and stars shine bright only for us
a love that wrapps me in warmth and security
the love you have given me is another love
and my darling i deserve better.
