hooyo macaan

my sweet mother

his sobs got caught

as his knees bleed

from the harsh pavement

hands up

he shook as if

his body was an earthquake

to kill or to be killed

to be or not to be

every story 

must have an ending

and every man

will eventually be faced with

death
