Another One Bites the Dust
My continuous journey to find a place of solace has left me desperate and hopeless.
Time and time again i wind up in the same place,
staring at the girl in the mirror with the sad face.
Pain and defeat flash in her eyes,
from those swollen lips you can almost hear her cries.
Trembling fingers clasp an old teddy bear,
her whole body slowly consumed with despair.
The light in her eyes slowly fades away,
while she struggles to find a reason to stay.
She thought that within time she would heal,
but it was more than a big deal.
This kind of pain lasts forever,
it feels like your heart has been severed.
Lungs collapse from the violent sobbing,
the trickle of blood never stopping.
Seeing this tragedy will break your heart,
yet no one stops her from falling apart.
So at the end of the day while it's pouring rain,
all of the blood from her now lifeless body swirls down the drain.
