Another Reason Why He's Better Than You

If consent were a key

I would have lost it

a long, long time ago.

There is not a moment

I don’t hate you

for taking that away the first moment you could.

The funny thing is

I really don’t hate you

I don’t hate anybody.

If consent were a light

it would have gone out for me

the second I was labeled as "yours"

You can call me a bitch

you can call me fat

you can call me all the things you do

But now if consent were a gun

it would be left smoking

and your pride would be left lifeless on the floor.
