Another R.I.P shirt

Another rip shirt

another funeral

Wearing all black in the summer

Ain't nothing new to you,

And gun shots at night starts to sound like a musical.

You gotta lot of friends, not really most of them fake.

The closest ones to u are either gone or to busy chasing money while running in place,

They running for cake,

You running for safe,

U running from hail

They running from mace

Another rip shirt

another body bag,

Big homie supplying protection,

It ain't karate class.

U gotta crazy homie

And he ain't got no dreams,

But both of y’all from the side

of the bob wired fence where the

Grass ain't green.

Where his day consists of ashing blunts and passing lean,

You’re tryinna figure out the difference between a clip and a magazine.

Another rip shirt

another toe tag,

kids blood on the wall but they’re worried bout forcevly orphaned cats,

Boohoo, so sad

Just another statistic, no dad.

Another rip shirt

Another street name,

Where blood stains and bullet shells only get washed by the cold rain.

And opertunity knocks but your stuck with window pain

Of knowing the same corners wher u played the game not it

where the final resting places of body's with soulless eyes that wouldn't close even though u held down the eye lids.

Another rip another box of tissues,

for the moms that just lost a son

and for the brothers that just lost a

sister eanoyhtrtcfor the fathers that just lost a daughter

and the family that just lost eachother

what a way to suffer

Another rip shirt, another corrupted soul, l

how do you live knowing you've

added to the death toll?

How do u have kids with a man you don’t even know?

How do u forgive a father who ain't get to see u grow?

How do u not be so useless?

How do u contribute to a society who a couple years ago didn't think you were human.

Another rip shirt, another

casket.

Advance ha!, they don’t y even know the basics.

Another home that’s built like a basement. Never seen an addict, yet the living room of addicts

That’s stuck up on that base n

Let’s face it

This where our children live how long you gone keep screaming let our children live.

I enjoy making poetry.

This poem is from the heart, I’ve always been poetic and I want to show other like minded minorities that though we are struggling we can make it through. It’s a bit dark but I just wanted to show my express myself and let people know about our environment. It’s ruff for us and though we try to better our selves through education, we have and still are being held back due to our skin pigmentation. I love us.
