Another Universe is Within Me

Being a poet is very dear to me;

To have the ability to drift into a sea

Of words, ideas, letters, and dreams

Where my creativity is bursting at the seams.

Tumble into a day dream far away

Into a land of sugarcoated madness

I chose to get lost there,

And content I am, here to stay.

I connect with myself

In places previously unknown.

At last, I have found home

In my mind, where the wild things roam.
