Another version of “Love”

My heart you miss used

 Feelings abused

And then you have the nerve to ask me why you losed me

 You overused me

You accused me of being like everyone else

 You wanted the perfect romance

While I just wanted a chance to prove myself worthy

 You wanted my body

 I wanted somebody

As time went on you wanted more and more

You wanted me to humiliate myself on the floor

You wanted me to fulfill your desires

I thought that was a terrible fire

I was like a prize on your shelf

 I begin hating myself

Because I knew we were wrong

Love is supposed to be a beautiful song

 That only we can understand

It’s supposed to be something grand

Now you’re just part of my past

 A past that I’m grateful didn’t last
