one more step
shall I take it
or just forget all
I know I am lost
I feel like another misstep
life just one unforgiving pit
and I really do not want to fall in
though I may have already
I know the hate my decisions bring
my own and theirs
I am broken alone and empty
but I am "free" and "smart"

I'm 20, but many tell me I have an old soul. I go through a lot of crap all the time about what I do and who I am so my stories and poems are the only places I can be free even if they mention my troubles it is a way to breathe, though the inspiration seems to fade every time
