There was this girl, a beautiful girl and she lived in the beautiful country she means more to me than all the world her beautiful face was all I could see I knew her once, that beautiful girl so listen close, I'll tell our story It was a summer's night, some years ago that I was lost in the woods alone when my eyes beheld the most stellar sight of a girl sitting under a tree she was intoxicating in the night so I sat with her, just her and me We fell in love, at a rate so fast that the rest of the world was meaningless with every second that seemed to pass I longed for nothing more than her caress she was more than any man could ask because when I'm with her, I'm left breathless it was early morning when she told me "For our love can never work" she said "I am an angel, and now I must leave" She was an angel, that night I said with her, in the summer, under a tree and now I wish that I could be dead because in my mind, I knew she must leave But I could not part with her, my love because I loved her more than even life so I gave my life to be above to be with her, be with my lovely wife now I give my soul to be with hers and to live eternally in her arms There was this girl, a beautiful girl and she lived in the beautiful country but now she doesn't live in this world now I've found she was an angel you see still I give my life to be with that girl and nothing can make me more happy
