To Answer The Absent Question

A life saturated with good things,

Is a saturated life.

Deprived of its horrors,

The very bulk of its very definition,

Is the very essence of life;

whatever that might be.

Man always saw the beauty in war,

In conflict.

We saw resolution in the spring

And in blooming flowers.

They saw beauty in the corpses,

of dead grey children

and in the nightmares of mourning mothers.

In the eyes of man

A life saturated with only good things

Is one short-lived with no time further expended
