Answer Sheets

A team, they said.

We're called classmates,

As if that's supposed to mean something.

      Anything.

You tellus to be unique,

     Then force us to conform.

Since when was the 'joy' of learning

     Been so... backward?

Since we were given a series of digits as a form of I.D?

Or since we've been told to sit down and to shut up

Because we don't agree with what the teacher?

No... Yes... A... B... C... D... who knows?

Bubbling in answers

On an answer sheet doesn't

Define us. We do.

We're humans, not machines.

We do feel, you know.

Screaming inside to be given a choice.

What happened to the freedom of expression?
