Answered Prayers

"Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours."

-Mark 11:24

Lord I hear you
Sometimes I blew you
But did not mean to disappoint you
Even though I forsakened you
You is there holding me
In your heavenly arms
Loneliness is adjourned
Many feeling addictions
You swerved the afflictions
My vulnerability is crushed
Get rid of this slush
When I pray
Lord you always have the right words to say
I know I commit sins
But throw them in the bins
With my lips I sometimes tell lies
Just to hide my hurtful cries
But I know you help my pain
You drain it
I am the most high
My eyes soaks up and dries
I pray without ceasing
And my blessings keeps increasing
The baggage is lifted off me
I can breathe
I am relieved
Heart is fresh and renewed
Hmm! Because of you
I will promise to follow in your footsteps
Depth of me
I promise to stay pure of innocence
This is my renaissance
Just lead me the way
And there will be no signs of gray
Lord, I will always pray and do right
And my life shall be bright
I will sing and rejoice
Love my choice
Lord, I love my Father
That's why I'm your daughter
