Anthony the basketball player

Anthony was a big ball player

When wanting something he said his prayers

As a young boy he had big dreams

He wanted to play on the best of teams

Anthony was as tall as they come

But coming down to school work he wasn’t dumb

He sat in the back of the class quiet and shy

Never talked to anyone, no one knows why

He comes from nothing thinking , he’ll remain humble

But little did he know everything is going to crumble.

Now, he’s older never got the chance to play

All he does now is smile and wave,

While wishing he could change his life around in one day.
