The Antichrist

As the scorching sun set,

And He gazed upon his Kingdom,

A stern demeanor,

His unyielding attitude

Across the Styx

A captive queen

Covered in jewels

A newfound power,

Unmoved by prayer

The rich one,

Protected by beasts.

Money, power, deception

Nations led astray

Hades has found a new home,

Here on Earth

He creeps

A hungry tiger

Seeking whom he may devour

A vicious scowl heard below

From his tall tinsel tower

Right hand to the Bible,

The oath was taken

In fire

He feels comfortable

He carries it

Where he pleases

A lifetime of mischief

Wrongdoing overlooked

Thanks to his friend

A trusty checkbook

Thank you, Mr. President,

For all that you do

God of the Underworld

Your infinite rendezvous.
