Anticipate

I anticipate one day,

Someone might understand.

That wishes I made,

Would be your's to take.

The more I think,

the more I care.

The more I want,

the farther it gets.

Do I really have another chance?

Every yesterday pushes me towards today.

When will my dreams stop falling short?

Are you just late?

Or never coming back?

I still anticipate one day,

Through nights and days.

Turned around,

and embraced my old mistake.

Finally understand,

A kite needs the sky,

But it also needs someone to hold in its hand.
