Ants
This is for the woman that live in your house, this is for the woman that you are today.
Be just you, a smart and beautiful woman.
Do not let no man control you, because you gave birth to him, you raised him.
Be just you, not trying to act different because you are in front a man, you better take out the strong woman behind you.
Do not let this sexism push you down, you better fight, because you know, you have rights.
I know there are stereotypes about you, that you are weak, but don’t become one of them.
If you are complicated and feel weak sometimes, don’t matter is okay, that’s right.
Mujer (Woman), you are a human being, not a toy. Nobody should tell you how you should act.
You are big in this planet, You are my mother, my sister, my friend, my girlfriend, my half.
Also, you suffer, you cry, you care, you love and you work really hard like an ant.
Little ant, you are strong, small, smart but survive for what you want.
Hombre (Man), you are born from a woman, raised by a woman and protected by woman.
Do not make yourself different from us. I am a human being, I can do the work you do, we are equal.
Do not let those man from the past invade your brain. Christopher Columbus, Trujillo, Shakespeare, and religious prophet because they were men don’t think that you can’t succeed like them.
They said man should be the boss when you and her can be boss together.
We are only one but separated by our sex.
We are the people, that can make changes in this nightmare. That we, las mujeres (the women), are living for.
