The Ants That Crawl

Reestablishment

Recovery

Rehabilitation

Repair

All this we hope you accomplished

White stuff

Winter time snow

Liquid form melting away

Pluto being injected

Smack, smacking the sense out of you

The Heroin we wish you were free of

Sluggish movement

Puppydog looks

Nasal ulceration around your nose like a red rash

Your pupils growin’... wait no they were shrinking

All the signs we saw

Sorrowful,shattered,oppressed,

Pessimistic,wailing,

Abandoned, alone, defensiv,

Demoralized, and exhausted.

All words to describe your depressant mood

Up the mountain

On the tracks

In a car

Into the building

Where you are isolated

Isolated in a room

Becoming ill and getting worse before it gets better

They call it detoxing

Letting the dark little black ants leave the tree trunk

Carrying the addiction on their backs

Letting the smell no longer lay on you

It’s addicting they say

Don’t let the little black ants crawl all over you

četvrti

Cuarto

vierte

na hudu

Thi si

All ways to say fourth in different languages

As in this is your fourth time at rehab

Third time by your own decision

Hope

A pure thing

Rather rare in today’s society

But there is hope that you come back

That you don’t let the darkness consume you again

You don’t let the addiction cave in on you

You don't let the little black ants crawl back in
